The Beady Girl

I wanted to try kanzashi flowers. I came across a pin and tried making the same. Although it was not so perfect as the original one. It looked good. I made a few changes based on the resources I had. I made it into a clip. I used gold, yellow and white material. Used a few beads in the center and felt sheet to fix it to the clip.   

This bow is made out of a Satin ribbon. I made this for my friend's daughter, for the Church feast. In our Community, the feast is celebrated every year. This would start with a flag hoisting on the first day and  extend for another nine days. The last day would be very special. We all wear new clothes and are at our best, on this day. My friend's daughter, is a seven year old girl. This bow looked cute on her hair.  She wore a red frock. The frock too had a bow at the back, so it matched very well with her frock. The bow is made of ribbon pieces. Each cut in pairs of different sizes. I added a simple border work in the center.

This Bouquet was prepared for a Holy Communion. I used white organza material to make the flower. For the center I added beads. To actually say, I played with beads. I enjoyed making the bead strands. Beads strands were made with wires. I arranged the beaded wires in the center, with a few popping upwards and a few hanging downwards. The wires were bundled together and were fastened together with strings. For the proper finish and cover up I used white satin. The Bouquet looked so bright because of the crystal beads. 

I made this for my niece, for a party, to match her red frock. She styled her hair at the front and left her hair loose. She fixed this spray at the side. The flowers were at the side and the beads stretched to the front. The entire spray gave a grand look. I made the flowers with both satin and glitter ribbons and attached bead branches to it. Added two white beads to the middle of the flowers.

  I made this flower clip to match a frock. I added two different kinds of ribbons to it. One was satin and the other a shimmer ribbon. Multicolored beads were added to give it a spray kind of a look. I fastened the flower and beads to a plain clip, to fix it with ease on the hair.  The flower clip looked good both at back and at the side with open hair styles. 

  This hair accessory could be used with ethnic wear. It could be used beside hair buns or on open hair. It is made of golden ribbons, silver wire and red colored half beads.  I cut square pieces of the golden ribbon and made flowers then bound them together with some half beads.
